For our client, an international company based in Prague, we are looking for a new colleague. You will be primarily responsible for the management of the general ledger, preparation and analysis of financial statements and preparation of reports.
What you'll be doing:
• Maintenance and control of the general ledger; accuracy of accounting
• Controlling and reconciling the general ledger for monthly closing
• Maintain accruals and prepayments; fixed assets register and related journal entries and
reconciliations
• Prepare balance sheet accounts reconciliation
• Collaboration with internal and external audit
• Prepare and send out (Italian) monthly accounting system report to IFRS
• Close collaboration with Italian colleagues
• Reporting sales results for foreign subsidiaries
Role requirements:
• Fluent English is a must, Italian is an advantage
• Good understanding of accounting and inputs in ledgers
• Previous experience in GL accounting/audit preferable
• Knowledge of ERP system, SAP is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Excel and its functions
• Detail orientation and accuracy
