The client

Client is a growing engineering company with the tradition and worldwide presence on the market within the area of producing machinery for screening technology - exterior and interior louvers and components for assembly. The company has been on the market since 1991, have sufficient production capacities and extensive experience working with top modern technologies. Company exports their goods all over the world.

The challenge

Client had very strict requirements to the recruitment process - they need senior candidates with experience in engineering company on a similar role. Skillset was a combination of electrical engineering, mechatronic and mechanical engineering. Company location was also
very difficult to access - mainly rural areas with only one bigger city in the 30km perimeter. Average length of search for one role was: 3 months.

The solution

Cpl Czech Republic delivered tailored effective sourcing strategy and comprehensive support to the Client’s HR department. We’ve formed dedicated Cpl consultants project team who are
specialists in Engineering recruitment and paid several visits to the Client to understand fully the technologies that are used, get to know all the stakeholders and get the feel of company environment and culture. Since the location is very specific we had to come up with various strategies how the promote the role across the district – example: we had to focus on candidates that would be willing to travel as the company does not offer any relocation package.We also took advantage of the Slovakian borders and we approached foreign candidates that live within commutable distance.

Outcome

For each role assigned we managed to present at least 2 profiles, all of them always being invited to the interview. We placed 90% roles we had assigned and managed to become the sole and preferred supplier of the client. Our consultants had a deep understanding of the technical requirements of the role. They gained the knowledge of the mindset of local people and how to convince them and where to look for the best candidates.
