Our client is a global company which produces and sells various types of consumer goods of international and well-known brands. The company is currently looking for a new colleague who will join the team, working in a hybrid regime from Prague office. Along with your colleagues, you´ll be responsible for month-end reporting in line with US GAAP and SOX.
What you'll be doing:
• Prepare monthly journal entries (e.g. accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed asset
additions, bank fees..)
• Active participation in the monthly, quarterly and year end closing process
• Monthly account reconciliations and balance sheet analysis
• Submit monthly cash flows
• Review entries for process improvement
• Assist supporting internal and external audit requests
• Guide and support of accounting associates
Role requirements:
• Accountancy degree or equivalent accountancy qualifications (US GAAP/SOX knowledge)
• Ideally 2+ years of experience within the field
• Great English communication skills (ideally B2+)
• Pro-active attitude and organizational skills, attention to detail
• Experience working in international/corporate environment would be advantageous
• Knowledge of SAP or other similar ERP program would be advantageous
